June 6th - Mixed Media Drawing – Local Landscapes

Join artist-printmaker Mary Bowen on 6th June for an evening creating landscape paintings using mixed media techniques. 7 - 9pm

During the workshop we will be creating images inspired by the landscape around the farm. We will be exploring a wide variety of media such as ink & sticks, charcoal, wax resist, collage and graphite, to create exciting studies and extend our creativity and confidence.

The workshop will be varied and fun, and you will leave with a series of energetic studies to take home and a knowledge of these wonderful processes, to continue for yourself.

The workshop will be held in The Shop space here at Coombeshead. All materials will be provided and the light refreshments will be available from the farm restaurant.

This workshop is perfect for either beginners or someone with more experience of drawing. Everyone will be learning, so no prior experience is required to join us. Each stage will be fully explained and demonstrated and the evening will be lots of fun.
